Minimum Payments

I was planning on purchasing a PS3 through Best Buy on my Best Buy credit card. The thing is, whenever I used any credit card in the past, I would just pay it off at the the end of the month and never made a really big purchase in them. Like I said, I want to purchase a PS3 and is this something that I can make minimum payments on and do this until I get my income tax in April? Thanks.

Usually Store Credit cards slap very high APR on the unpaid balance, so be careful what you are getting into. It will be wiser to pay using the credit card with lowest APR in case you are willing to pay it off over the period.

I have only one Store Card from Home Depot and I just hate it. I am better off with regular Non-Store Credit Cards.

You can surely pay with your Best Buy card. Your min payment will be around 2% of your balance. This card typically has an APR of around 24% so pay it off ASAP.

Sony offers a credit card with 0% APR within the first six months. If you purchase a PS3 60GB... you will pay $249.99 ($150 savings) and 120GB one for $399 (another $150 savings)

No... I do not work for Sony... I just got that offer on the mail... unfortunately... I already have the PS3
