Citi Sent Wrong Credit Card...help
Hi everybody,
I'm a young student who are somewhat new to credit cards.
I've had my Citi Professional Select cc for about 3 years, w/o rewards or anything pretty much. A month ago, I signed up online for a Citi Professional SM card with thank you network and 15,000 points for signing up.
Well...they sent me a new card which is exactly the same as my old card. I called them up, and found out that they were only going to credit 25.00 to my account as a sign up bonus, but not give me the 15000 points...
The credit card's number is the same as the previous one, and I'm curious whether this still counts as opening a new account. I want to cancel it, and apply for the offer again (this time printing proof of documentation in case this happens again), and get the 15000 points.
Hopefully I can get some advice from more experience people. Thanks!
