I have been struggling with a card from bank of america for sometime (had since 2000) and I just got off the phone with them and I'm so stoked I had to talk to someone about this.
I had mostly cash advances on this card which was a problem, but they have taken a 24.49% rate and gave me a fixed 4.75% for 5 years on a 10K balance with me closing the account. I'm so excited that I have just created some extra money monthly while still getting this paid down. Now I can't default on this at any point or it will revert back to the old rate.
