i am being sued

hi guys i am being sued by providian
i got a letter from a lawyers office.
the thing is that i recently got approved and have
a washington mutual credit card.
now theese lawyers want to c paystubs from me
so they can come on a settlement.
dont know what to do can someone help???

Have you even tried contacting Providan to work out some kind of payment plan? The best thing to do now is to contact whoever has your account and work out some kind of payment schedule.

If you have enough available credit on your new card, use a balance transfer to pay off Providian and be done with them. You're lucky that Washington Mutual approved you for a new card if you have a delinquent account with Providian on your credit report!

The post does not make a lot of sense or you are extremely lucky!!

If you are really in that situation, just pay off the debt, or try to find out a solution. Going to court is the last thing you should do!!
