thinking about walking on debt

Due to job related issues, i am having difficulty making payments. I am thinking about just stop paying on 2 credit cards. i know my credit will get dinged but my car payment and mortgage payment are always current and up to this point have not been late with any payments but the snow ball is getting bigger. i know you can settle the debt but must show lates first. So, my thoughts are to take the payments i would make to cc, save the money then settle later. any suggestions or thoughts. thanks

IF you have NO money to pay on these cards then your plan will have to be the plan to go by. You should try and contact your local credit counseling agencies because they will help you figure out what you can pay with what you having going on like your car and house payment..
