Can anyone advise me what jurisdictions credit card companies have if you have moved abroad? I have an issue, 4 years ago i moved to Spain I told the card company this and all was fine, they continued charging the PPI. Now i have been made redundant the card company said that the PPI does not apply unless you are a UK resident. I am not in a position to pay the credit card any money which is outstanding as i am still out of work, and they have now got a solicitor invoolved to try and get money out of me in Spain, i do not know where i stand with this. Can anyone help me?
