Using your Debit Card
This has been a topic of discussion on many forums.

Here’s a good article from Consumer Report on the subject. Everyone knows I don’t favor using a debit card. It’s my money.

Well... Just keep track of your spendings... That easy.

I use my debit card for everything. But I have a 11 pages Spreadsheet file where I track everything in financial terms... I can name at any moment of the day the exact amount of my checking account (maybe not the cents however )

I think Credit/Check/Debit cards are lethal weapons if are used without sense, but with sense... why not?

there's no difference between purchasing with a debit card and a credit card; i'd rather spend the money that i have than worry about paying off the credit card at the end of the month.

Credit Card Preference
I use my credit card almost exclusively for daily purchases. I pay it off every month so I do not carry a balance.

This has two purposes - it keeps track of my purchases, and I get something for using the credit card. Some cards give me cash back, others give me miles. If I paid with cash or my debit card, I do not receive any benefits.

This only works if you are good about paying your card off each month...

Make your money work for you for a change.

I prefer to use a credit card for everyday purchases, and if you pay your ballance in full every month I don't see a problem with it.

I only use the debit part of my debit/credit card when places (and there are) that don't take the credit card part of it (like Aldi's). I hate the fact that my bank charges me .25 for each debit transaction I use with MY money! I learn from each experience and now if people really knew they would call me a tight wad, LOL..

just keep one thing in your mind that there is not much difference between purchasing with credit card or debit card. but every one prefer the credit card for purchasing because it is easy to pay off.
