I'm new to this forum and I have a question that I would love answered. How long when I'm approved for a credit card before it shows up on my credit report. Please somebody with the best answer responed.

Credit dard question???
When you receive your credit card does it show up on your credit report after you activate it by using you credit card or when you get approved for the credit card it shows up on your credit report?

I don't think it'll show up til lyou start using it. Not 100% sure though.

It all depends on the card and the issuer. Amex takes 30 to 60 days to report. Citi and Chase sometimes report before you have the card physically in your hand. Cap 1 sometimes reports after you use it. Many business cards will never report. Also, if you have a Signature card it may not report. If it does, it will not report CL.

Depends on the credit card company..hopefully sooner than later so you can build or rebuild your credit!

i think it all depends on the card and issuer. Amex takes 30 to 60 days to give the report.we can say that it all depends on the credit card company to give the report or not to the users.
