I Need Your Views_"Pick 10 credit tips from this list of 15 please!"
Hey guys, I got asked this question a while ago, and couldnt make up my mind, so thought id see your views to it.

So am asking for a favour. - answer a credit related question/opinion.

Can i ask your opinion on something.....

out of these below 15 ways to improve your credit score, If you had to pick 10 which stand out which would they be? (excluding 5) -

or asked another way, which 5 DONT APPEAL to you, compared to the other 10? (which 10 are you more interested in?)

Ways to repair your credit score
Tip 1) Understand where credit scores come from.

Tip 2) Develop an action plan for dealing with your credit score.

Tip 3) Check your credit score regularly

Tip 4) Beware of debts and credit you don’t use.

Tip 5) Look out where you get your credit report - and what it contains

Tip 6) Give it time

Tip 7) Seek professional help

Tip 8) Look out f or credit repair scams

Tip 9) Get out of the spending habit

Tip 10) Prepare for financial emergencies

Tip 11) Talk to lenders and creditors

Tip 12) Go online

Tip 13)Try to pay for education through means other than loans

Tip 14) (Almost) never default on a student loan

Tip 15) Learn to deal with collection agencies

^^ Out of them 15, which 10 would you be interested in? (you have to choose only 10)

-which 10 stand out to you

Take your time, and get back, thanks.

(The reason I am asking is i got asked it on another forum - to pick 10 out of 15, and didnt know which 10 seemed the most valuable, so that is why i am asking a credit pro like yourself - I hope you don't mind, and can spend the time to answer it)

Tip 3) Check your credit score regularly - You will notice fast if anything is wrong.

Tip 1) Understand where credit scores come from. - By this way, you will know what to do to improve.

Tip 2) Develop an action plan for dealing with your credit score. - So you learn to pay off, to keep low balances, and so forth.

Tip 6) Give it time - The most important thing... time... and patience. Pay off, do a good business with them and good points will come.

Tip 9) Get out of the spending habit - CCs are your friends if you know how to handle them... Spend sparingly and do not go over 25% ever.

Tip 4) Beware of debts and credit you don’t use. - I like to do this... I have some empty credit cards but I check them monthly just in case they charged me something they shouldn't but that it will become a late payment, so a late fee will be applied and after several days... even can end up in a collection... without even noticing, your credit is ruined.

Tip 10) Prepare for financial emergencies - I've had once recently and it saved my butt. I had a credit card almost empty and I had to get a good amount of cash from it. Now I pay it off and everything is good again (a check did not come and I had to pay bills and so)

Tip 12) Go online - To check your accounts and make sure everything is paid and up to date.

Tip 14) (Almost) never default on a student loan - I've heard these are killers... avoid them.

No one else is good for me, however, as the 10th one is nice if you failed on the 9 above:

Tip 15) Learn to deal with collection agencies - So you can easier fix up your mess.

Hope it helps...

Percy.
