Same here give me the cash and I can buy a ticket and fly when I want and where I want should I need to... Air Miles cards are just so last year

Well, my airline miles always have a blackout date, plus I don't travel alot so it is fine.

Well, I travel alot so I would choose to get airline miles instead of cashback.

Actually yes, I agree. The miles that you need to have even before you can avail the free flight is very hard to achieve. And they have this certain date wherein you're miles can expire, and it just boils down to one thing you won't be able to avail any free flight at all.

It is VERY worth it. I flew to Florida with my airmiles and now plan to use them to fly to Europe.

My parents used a credit cards from visa and we get airmiles if we use it. We had enough to visit Florida last summer, it was great!

Southwest Rapid Rewards program seems to be a really good deal. It takes 16 credits to get a free roundtrip flight. They give you 2 when you sign up and 2 on your first anniversary. Each flight is worth 2 so if you fly six times, you've got a free flight. You can still use your cashback credit card if you want. Also they have a Rapid Rewards Credit Card. Same deal 16 credits equals a free flight. They give you 8 credits for signing up (I think Southwest Vacations gives you 9 credits) It takes 1200 dollars to earn 1 credit. So that's $9600 spending which seems kind of steep. They also give 1 credit for each $1200 balance transfer.

airline reward is only worth , it is only good for those who travel a lot.
