Citibank is an allaround great company. Always been helpful over customer service. What type of details are you looking for?

Does Citi charge a membership fee for their credit cards?
Do they charge a membership fee for their credit cards?

Has anyone used a Citi Dividend Platinum Select MasterCard for College Students before? If so, how does it work? Do you recommend it?

I am a college student and I have never had a credit card before. I am simply looking into applying for a credit card with a low APR, no membership fees, no monthly maintenance fees and no annual fees. Is a Citi Dividend Platinum Select MasterCard for College Students a good choice or is there another credit card that you recommend? Does every college student get approved for the Citi Dividend Platinum Select MasterCard for College Students?

Citi does not list any membership fee or monthly maintenance fee information in their credit card disclosures. I know some credit card companies write "none" next to the membership fee information. Is not disclosing any membership fees the same thing as writing "none" next to the membership fee information?

I would feel safe getting the credit card if the membership fee said "none" due to the fact that not disclosing probably is put there in case they want to change..

Hmmm, I would think that writing "none" next to the membership fee and not disclosing any information about the membership fee in the disclosure would be the same thing. I would think that writing none and not disclosing any information about the membership fee would mean that there is no membership fee. Isn't the annual fee and membership fees for student credit cards supposed to be free anyway? Isn't there a federal law in place right now that forces credit card companies to list all the charges (especially the membership and annual fees) in the disclosures and that no charges should be hidden?

You would think so but, some credit cards can be sneaky. I would suggest just getting one that states clearly to you that there is NO fees.

Good Luck..
