CHASE'S Privacy Policy...Question!
In this little tri-fold paper they send you that they probably expect nobody to read, they honestly write that they will share information both with external people (auto dealers, auto manufacturers, membership clubs, etc.) as well as internal parties (one of Chase's airline or retail partners). That's right, they WILL share information..

However, on the back, it says that you can call them and ask NOT to share your information (opt-out). This sounds like a wonderful thing to do.. but would this affect, for example, me getting a vehicle in the future? Or a better Chase credit card?

Right now, I have Chase Freedom, and this is my first card ever - so I am new to the whole battlefield. Please let me know if I should call them or not..

Thank you

Eric

You should have no repercussions if you opt-out. You simply won’t be getting offers from their affiliates.
