Swipe to prevent chargebacks.

Swipe the card to be able to prove the transaction. There is also a machine where you can imprint the numbers, name, etc. in literally one second. It's conveniently called a manual credit card imprinter.

When swiping the card, make sure that all of the card information gets imprinted onto the paper. Sometimes there's a thing or two that comes up too light to make out. Because of the illegibility, it becomes void.

My company , Dialie, chooses to let the customer swipe to avoid the charges back. because the customer swipe himself the card you not have to ask for his ID and you are protect from credit card stolen which would be reports later.
