Ripped off!

I just got ripped off by a friendly member

Never sell templates to people unless they pay you upfront. Now I lost $100 and the person has my template, so I can\'t sell it now! It\'s not ORIGINAL anymore

Sorry to hear the mate. I know the feeling of getting chipped and then services like paypal, don't do a SINGLE thing. But meh... that's how it is these days. Mabye you can post the place he did this at and warn other members.

ouch, well at least you now know to collect up front, it is true that people are not as honest as we hope them to be... pm me i know a great forum u can check out for info on ur templates so u can send them tests and not the actual code, its a pretty boring forum and i would not recomend it for much else lol

Bummer. I hope you can get your money back somehow. Do you have his address information or anything that would allow you to contact him?

This is why you should always ask for money upfront or at least a portion.

I was ripped off the same way! WHy do people do this? Now I ALWAYS take 50% 1st, so if they rip me off I can get something in return!

sorry to hear, but i think it was a lesson for u which cost u $100. it might be more. now u should be happy because u would not get chipped in future after all u have a lesson of $100 .
